Description
Bend the Arc Pittsburgh is cosponsoring a candidate forum for the upcoming primary election for City Council, District 9, along with the League of Women Voters (LWV) and the Black Political Empowerment Project (BPEP). The forum will be held Thursday night, April 18th at the East Liberty library on 130 S. Whitfield St. The forum runs from from 6:30-8:00pm, but volunteers need to arrive by 5:30pm.
AS A SPONSOR, BEND THE ARC NEEDS TO PROVIDE AT LEAST 3 VOLUNTEERS. If you live *outside* of City District 9 (see map below), you can volunteer to curate audience questions in advance of the forum. They also need a few ushers and people to time the speakers.
Please RSVP here and we'll respond to see which positions you are willing to help with. After you are placed in a particular volunteer position you will be given a detailed job description.
